Unfortunately Kim’s off sick today (which means even more unfortunately that she missed cupcake day), so its down to me (Oli) to update you on the blinkBox world in a witty and informative way…

So who’s seen Spiderman 3 yet? Not to give anything away to those who haven’t but I’ve got to say it was hard not to feel a little disappointed leaving the cinema. Don’t get me wrong, Sandman and Venom are incredible, and there’s more than enough set-pieces and humour (hello Bruce Campbell) to keep you entertained. But…

…a Peter Parker dance scene?!

Still, it is Spiderman, so it’s still great. And Ben and Brad both liked it so it’s a slightly-reserved thumbs up from blinkBox. Now if only Sam Raimi could just sort-out his iconic stars-and-stripes fixation…

In actual blinkBox news we’ve got some new Discovery stuff up (‘American Chopper’, ‘Deadliest Catch’, ‘Extreme Engineering’ and more – not to mention the thrills and spills of Ian Botham’s fishing programme). We should also be getting a load of Black Diamond surf, skate, and ski stuff next week for all of you with a lust for extreme sports…

Anyhow, that’s all for now – back to eating cupcakes to help fuel our push towards beta on May 28th. Keep the registrations coming in…
